JMU's Spring Invitational will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2008.
Welcome to the official JMU Women's Club Volleyball website. JMU Women's Club Volleyball consists of about 24 competitive volleyball players from the east coast. All of our members have played competitively in high school and at the junior olympic level. We play under the National Intramural Recreation Sports Association (NIRSA), and in 2006 we joined the Carolina Women's Collegiate Volleyball League (CWCVL). Our "A" team travels across the United States to compete in many tournaments and also competes in the NIRSA National Championships at the Division 1 Level. Our "B" team travels up and down the east coast to compete in tournaments.
Our "A" team finsihed thier season at Nationals In Lousiville, Kentucky March 12-14. We had a very successful tournament finishing higher than any other team Womens team from the mid-atlantic region. We won the Silver Division, finishing 21st overall.
The "A" team competed in a tournament in Las Vegas, Nevada March 23-24 and competed against many teams from the west coast. We finised 1st in the Silver Bracket beating Arizona in two games in the final match.
